Dr. Robert Plant

Dr. Robert Plant stands at the forefront of Artificial Intelligence (AI) research as the Founding Chair of the Department of Business Technology and an Associate Professor at Miami Herbert Business School. His innovative work focuses on validating AI systems, exploring the intersection of AI and labor economics, neuro-symbolic AI, and driving technology transformation. He is also the Director of the Intelligent Computer Systems Research Institute.

Dr. Ola Henfridsson

Dr. Ola Henfridsson is the Schein Family Endowed Chair, Professor of Business Technology, and Associate Dean of Online Business Programs at Miami Herbert Business School. His research interests lie in digital innovation, technology management, and platforms. Ola teaches executive and graduate courses related to blockchain, innovation, and product management. He is also the Program Chair for the Annual Business of Blockchain.

Dr. Nina Huang is an associate Professor of Business Technology at Miami Herbert Business School. Nina is passionate about understanding how digital technology can enhance user experiences and improve business outcomes. Her research program encompasses a range of contexts, including online matching, online learning, online healthcare, mobile applications, and digital commerce. Huang’s pioneering research in digital platforms and human-AI interactions has ranked her as the #1 female scholar by AIS Global Research Ranking.

Dr. Robert Gregory is the Associate Professor of Business Technology at Miami Herbert Business School. In addition to that, Robert works as Research Fellow at MIT’s Center for Information Systems Research (CISR) and collaborates within global and local communities spanning information systems and general management.
